I graduated from SFU and began my exciting career in teaching in 2006. I taught everything from K-7 and finally called Parkcrest School my home in 2019. I am married with two beautiful daughters. I have a passion for language arts, social emotional learning and for helping learners succeed. I believe it is important to work alongside parents and my students to help each student in my class succeed. Feel free to contact me anytime and I'd be happy to meet with you to discuss any questions you may have.
Mrs. Montagano
Right from elementary school, I knew I wanted to work with children and be a teacher. After graduating from SFU in 1998, I TOC'd for six months before landing my first full-time position in a Grade 6/7 classroom. While teaching, I continued on with my education at the University of Oregon, getting my masters degree in Educational Leadership in 2001. 22 years later, seven different schools and experience in all grades Kindergarten through grade 7, I am so excited to return to Parkcrest School - my former elementary school! I am lucky to be able to teach part-time while raising our three children. I have also had the opportunity to TOC at Parkcrest where I have been getting to know all the students in our fabulous school community. Like Mrs. Wilson, I believe all children can be successful and it is our job to figure out where they are at in their learning journey and to assist them moving forward. I look forward to working with you and your child this year - please feel free to contact me anytime.
